Green Specialty Tree – Resource

As the name implies, the green tree focuses on tile training, tile leveling and honor boost

The Green Tree is circular

  • You can spec the branches then go around if you wish.
  • Each branch requires 22 (or 26) points to go all the way.
  • The circle portion of each branch consists of 6 minor nodes and 2 major points = another 28 points.
  • So going all the way in a branch + around = 50 points in total
  • The minor nodes on the left and right side of each branch give buffs similar to the middle path of each branch. Major nodes in the circle give +5 territory cap.

Green Up: Training and Resource Cellar (Gold Shield)

  • Each minor node needs 3 specialty points and each major node needs 5 specialty points = 22 points to go all the way.
  • Middle path gives additional hero exp from taking tiles
  • Left and right paths give you additional materials when taking tiles
  • First Major Node: Training. Costs 200 command, so you can train 5x a day.
  • Second Major Node: Resource Cellar (Gold Shield). This is where some people spec in between seasons (and during) as it will protect their res when attacked. Upon activation nothing happens, but after you get attacked, a gold shield will appear. You’ll still lose troops but your resources are safe. Lasts up to 60 minutes, can be used once a day.

Green Right: Land Development

  • Each minor node needs 3 specialty points and each major node needs 5 specialty points = 26 points to go all the way.
  • Upper path increases march speed towards honor structures (helpful for wars)
  • Middle path gives honor boost when taking tiles
  • Lower path increases march speed towards tiles (very helpful in general)
  • First Major Node: Land Reclamation, upon activation, you get a % of material production of a number of tiles within range (no one uses this).
  • Second (and 3rd major node): Land Development. I cover this in-depth here: http://www.lsstips.ca/land-development-green-tree-spec/

Green Left: Honor Boost

  • Each minor node needs 3 specialty points and each major node needs 5 specialty points = 22 points to go all the way.
  • Upper path lowers resource cost (food, fuel, wood, iron) when upgrading honor structures
  • Middle path increases honor after building or upgrading honor structures
  • Lower path lowers composite material cost when upgrading honor structures
  • First Major Node: Civil Engineering. I cover this in-depth here: http://www.lsstips.ca/specialty-leveling-trick/
  • Second Major Node: Honor Award. Can be used once a day, gives you some amount of honor based on your honor structures, usually just a few 100k’s (I get around 500k per use, not a big deal)

Spec based on your needs

  • I don’t care for Green Up, I don’t need that gold res shield
  • I’m usually spec’d for Green Right to level up my tiles or
  • Green Left to boost honor while upgrading my buildings
